STATUS REPORT AS OF JULY 2: We hope to be done with the schedule by Friday. We have encountered a number of delays due to teams registering late and other instances of teams changing their availability after the work was done. Please continue to watch this site for changes. We will announce when the schedules are final. 

We also are aware that there have been a number of changes in some divisions, especially the 5th Grade. Due to the number of teams and the various  requests, we have had to schedule some games at times, days and locations that were less than preferrable to some teams. We have made every effort to minimize any inconvenience but we are asking that everyone accept the one or two games that were scheduled at times that were not not preferred.

We can still accept one 5th Grade team. All other divisions are closed.

We are working on the schedules and will release them on Friday, July 3. Teams playing on July 6 will be called on July 2. Please continue to watch this site for the release of the schedule.

Island Garden is pleased to welcome Said Hamdan, M.S., A.T.C., who has trained a wide array of professional and college athletes. Such well known professionals as Allan Houston, Chris Mullin, Lon Kriger and Tim Capstraw all have offered testimonilas praising Said's methods and results.  His program is designed to enhance the fundamentals, game approach, and athletic education of today's athlete - whatever your sport.

Coach Tim Capstraw's reputation as a camp director and trainer of young athletes is second to no one. This is evident in the sustained popularity of his camp over the years and the continuous praise it receives. Coach Capstraw is presently a radio analyst for the New Jersey Nets and his resume includes being a Division l coach at Wagner College. Most importantly for puposes of the camp, he is a dynamic personality who truly cares about the girls he instructs. He has an outstanding basketball mind, knows how to teach the game to young players and makes it a fun filled experience. At one moment, he  will be teaching an important offensive skill to his campers and the next minute, he will be leading a hilarious contest that will have all the girls laughing!

Coach Capstraw will be hosting two separate weeks of camp this year; July 13-17 and August 17-21.
